一个人的饮食习惯不是所要改就能改。在大马生活了数十年,对口味重的食品还是情有独钟,有时候想起一些我在吉隆坡长吃的食物如Nasi Lemak,干捞面,猪肠粉,福建面等等,肚子里还会打鼓。还好在这里我天天都不是面包三文治,要不然生活肯定枯燥,日子可不知是如何的过!哈哈!
威灵顿有着许许多多的亚洲餐馆,说起美食并不逊于吉隆坡,只是缺少了那大马道地的味道。有时候都是我自己下厨解决,特别是早餐与晚餐。下面的几道食物都是亲自动手烹调的,请多多指教!
酸辣虾与葱油饼~我们称葱油饼为“煎堆”。以前小时候家里不是很富裕,而且又是一个大家庭,母亲用几角钱一斤的面粉就可以做好多件经济实惠又好吃的“煎堆”给我们吃。这是我最怀念的食物之一。虽然说是葱油饼却没有葱,用的是韭菜,虾米及蛋。捏一小块,点一点酸辣虾酱,味道”无得弹“

The chicken neck n wings…most of the injections done on chicken neck or wings. The injection is for the chicken to grow fasten than usual. Is NZ’s chickens all from farm? just like our kampung chicken.

I thought the meat around the chicken neck is more tender and taste better. But I think I will stop eating the neck liao!
