今天下午三点，为了赶时间，从Cuba Street叫了一辆德士回家。一上了车说出了目的地，德士司机从我的口音马上就认得出我是大马人，好像一见如故一样，滔滔不绝的和我一路畅谈。他是槟城人，二十五年前移民来纽西兰当厨师，现在不干了，当起德士司机。
在威灵顿，千万不可小看德士司机，这里都是卧虎藏龙的的地方，有些专才因为厌倦了他们的本职而暂时“下海”当司机。很多时候，在德士司机等客的当儿，都可以看见他们拿着厚厚的书在司机座位上阅读。
当到达Thorndon目的地时，这位司机还特地把德士停在路旁和我交谈了十分钟，有如几十年未见面的好朋友。不但如此，还约了我与他一家人这个周末一起去位于Lower Hutt的佛堂拜佛吃素，还会介绍朋友给我认识。你说是不是和他很“有缘”呢？
哈哈！这个周末有“着落”咯！
