I was asked the same question many times why I wrote my blog in Chinese language. Although I do not deny that although English is an international language and understood by most people, I am proud of myself being a Chinese and able to convey my thought and experiences in Chinese (Although I am still learning). By the way do you know that Chinese is the most widely spoken language?

Chinese language is the cultural heritage and it is the best gift that our ancestors had ever given to us. If you could read Classical Language (文言文), there is so much of wisdom you could reap from ancient books such as The Analects of Confucius (论语). In recent years, China is growing rapidly and there is a great potential that China may over take USA economically in the next 5 to 10 years. So if you know Chinese language (or start learning it, it is never too late though!), you will have a better head start when time comes!

For those who really cannot read Chinese, to ensure you could enjoy reading my NZ experiences, I have made your life easier. I have created a “Translate to English” button at the top of my blog. Thanks to Google new translation service, it provides an instant translation from Simplified Chinese to English in no time. However, this automated translation is still at infancy stage and not ready for prime time. The translated text could be inaccurate but it should give you a good idea of what I am trying to share in my blog.
