Karori 野生生物公园 (Karori Wildlife Sanctuary)

在威灵顿二公里处有一个“秘密山谷”，它拥有252公顷的自然森林以及各类希见的鸟类，可以让这里的人接触及体验珍贵的自然遗产。今天乘了三号巴士，不出十五分钟，就到达了Karori Wildlife Sanctuary。威灵顿市靠山环水，一切的休闲活动都随手可得。

有没有发现，这里的天空没有云的时候，特别蓝？这是因为纽西兰远离赤道，太阳的折射导致我们只能看到蓝色光谱。

在百多年前，1870年，Karori 有一段时间淘金热。这是当时遗留下来的金矿。
